In our Toddler Room we strive to provide support, love and nurturing in a fun and active environment. Toddlers are provided with the consistency and routine that they crave each day. We post lesson plans showing the activities the children will be doing throughout the week. Our teachers encourage developmentally appropriate behavior skills, social emotional skills, as well as their learning development.

Our Toddler Room can have eight children with one adult. The children range in age from 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 years old. Child's World has one morning toddler teacher and one afternoon toddler teacher. The morning teacher is Mrs. Melissa, and she has been with Child's World since July 2013. The afternoon teacher is Ms. Mariah, and she has been with Child's World since June 2014.

We work daily on self help skills such as practicing handwashing, putting on a coat, picking up toys and sharing with friends. Potty training is also an important stage. Children develop this skill at their own pace. Teachers and parents work together to provide the best environment for success. The toddlers have the opportunity to go outside every morning and afternoon. Also at no additional cost we provide a bi-weekly music class.
